Signing up

You sign up with an email and a password. You’re responsible for keeping that password to yourself. One account per person; share the patches, not the login. We can disable any account that’s clearly being abused.

What you log is yours

Your rack, patches, sessions, releases, and renders belong to you. The journal half of ModulRift is free — log as many modules and patches as you want. We may impose reasonable storage limits if a single account starts eating its way through the disks, but we’ll tell you first.

Credits and renders

AI features cost credits. Credits are bought in one-time packs (or a custom amount), never expire, and aren’t refundable once consumed. If a generation fails, the credits for that run are refunded automatically — we only bill for successful renders.

AI suggestions are starting points, not final products. Don’t use the service to generate anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to violate the underlying model provider’s usage policies. We can disable accounts that do.

If things change

We may update these terms; if we make a meaningful change we’ll flag it in-app. You can delete your account any time and we’ll remove your records within a reasonable window. We provide the service as-is, without warranties — modular synthesis is already unpredictable enough.
